The Basics:- Name: Ryan Chiang
- Schools: UC Davis '14(hopefully, lulz for engies), Monte Vista High School '10
- Major: Electrical Engineering

About Me:- Enjoy to do anything athletic. Played on many sports teams (baseball, soccer, basketball, swimming, golf)for many years ( >3 for each sport)
- Music (was) my life. Slowly trying to bring back 10 years of piano. (sandy's keyboard! >
)
- In hs, I did marching band for all 4 years. Played tenor drums(quads) on the drumline and was one of the leaders.
- Did golf during hs summers. Never got really competitive, but still did decently.
- For those of you who are wondering/confused, I have a younger brother and a younger sister. All things considered, I kinda wish I had an older sibling :/
- 100% ABC. Half from HK, half from Taiwan. Can't speak either Canto or Mandarin(but understands a little bit from 4 years of chinese school). Sad life
- Current sports: DB and Golf.
DB stuff:- Primarily right side paddler. Can do left side as well, but noticeably weaker.
- Joined DRD after my first paddling session on my birthday last year (If you can figure it out, props for you. And dont tell liz)
- Was a dryland leader in Spring Q and will most likely lead more in the future.
- Currently in boat 2 "mengine"
Random things:- techy things are awesome
- math nerd
- If I really want to, I can sleep anywhere. Anywhere. For example. once I slept standing up on BART for 30 mins.
- I know I am skinny. Working on that.
- If I could double major, the second would be Astrophysics/Aerospace Engineering
- I watch too many action movies. I often imagine myself in high speed car chases, gun shootouts, ninja fights, etc. during the day. If you see me blank out, I'm really down the street in an Aston Martin being chased by two humvees and a chopper. I've got a rocket, but don't tell the chopper guy.
- Sort of related to the previous point, I believe I can parkour/freerun. I just have yet to try...
- I found this quite funny after I joined DRD -> Chinese name: 江偉龍 ->literal translation -> Great Water/River Dragon (or something like that). haha thank you grandpa for the awesome name.
Username Background:Usually I use rnchiang or rchiang, but some poser copied my first initial and last name. Thanks Ray, thanks. haha jk.
RY(an) CH(iang) ... (epsilon greater than) U
and I like pokemon
Oh! another fun fact:
When I filled out personal info forms for online sites like, Amazon and Neopets, I didn't want to put my real info out there(you really shouldn't. people can easily back trace your stuff) so I used 'Ray Chiang' as my 'real' name. LOL never thought I'd actually meet a Ray Chiang so early haha.
